There are events that change countries, and what has happened here in the United States with the Supreme Court confirmation process- is one of those events. In the end, it wasn’t just about Brett Kavanaugh or Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, but rather the manner in which women in the United States are treated, especially those who are sexually harassed or abused. This is a conversation that can no longer be stopped, and perhaps the image I remember the most from this episode is when two women did not allow the door to close for the elevator holding Senator Jeff Flake, and they did not allow the door to close until he listened to them. The country is listening- all of it- and the door remains open.
