Rev. Jesse Jackson claims  the implementation of voter photo-I-D laws is suppression at the ballot box designed to influence the outcome of this year's Presidential race.

"There is a renewed effort to undermine racial justice which was achieved through equality and to a New South," said Jackson. "To move racial justice and workers' rights from the agenda it must not be allowed to happen."

"While we have the captain of the ship is African American, there's mutiny on the ship, those who want to sink the ship just to destroy the captain. It's irrational, but it's taking place," he said.

"Voter suppression schemes in 38 states here in Tennessee, we're fighting wars for voter access abroad and denied voter access at home. We must not back up on that," Jackson added.
