House Probits DOJ from Suing States on Voter ID Law: 'We are at Battle with our own Justice Department '

Rep. Schweikert (R-AZ.) spoke on the House floor regarding his amendment to make it unlawful for funds from the appropriations bill to be used by the federal government to sue states over their voter ID laws.

"We are at battle with our own Justice Deaprtment," Rep. Schweikert declared, "the American people are tired" of it.

His amendment to the appropriations bill passed 232 to 190 relflecting the ongoing irritation of Republicans, and apparently some Democrats, have with Attorney General Eric Holder.
