During Tuesday's edition of The Ingraham Angle, host Laura Ingraham and her guests discussed the double standard applied by the Democrats when it came to covering the vague sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh dating back more than three decades as opposed to their treatment of a more recent allegation of abuse involving Democrat Keith Ellison. According to Ingraham, "some allegations have merit. The allegations against Democrats have no merit and the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh from 36 years ago should end a Supreme Court nomination."  Guest Monica Crowley mentioned Ellison's bid for Minnesota Attorney General and called "the idea that the Democrats are protecting him while running wild on Brett Kavanaugh" a "disgrace." Crowley maintained that "this is all about the broader war on Donald Trump and his agenda. Brett Kavanaugh is just the latest proxy in this war. To take down this President, undermine his agenda, make it stillborn and destroy all of his appointees and anybody who dares to serve this President or to be appointed by this President. It is about Roe v. Wade of course, but is also about undermining and ultimately taking down this Presidency." Ingraham concluded the segment by saying "I don't think it's about women, otherwise they would be concerned about Keith Ellison."
