Ellen’s Lib Logic: We Must Be Tolerant, But I’d Never Have Trump on My Show

[See NewsBusters for more.] Ellen DeGeneres on Friday proved yet again that tolerance is a one way street for liberals. Appearing on the Today show, she told Matt Lauer that Donald Trump would not be invited on her show. Within seconds, the talk show host urged tolerance of ideas that may disagree with our own. Lauer failed to point out the galling hypocrisy in these two statements. The Today co-host hailed DeGeneres as “socially conscious” and wondered of Trump: “Would you like him to come on the show?” The entertainer quickly said no and explained, “Because I'm not going to change his mind. He's against everything that I stand for.”
