Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was asked whether she would raise taxes on the middle class to pay for her Medicare-For-All plan during Tuesday evening's CNN/New York Times Democratic Presidential Debate.

"You have not specified how you're going to pay for the most expensive plan, Medicare-For-All," New York Times National Editor and debate moderator Marc Lacey said before asking Warren his question. "Will you raise taxes on the middle class to pay for it? Yes or no?"

But, one thing was missing from Warren's response - an actual answer.

Multiple other candidates on the stage called Warren out for her non-answer, with South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) telling the Massachusetts senator that it was a simple yes or no question.
