Dems Interrupt Kavanaugh Hearing Requesting More Time to Review Thousands of Pages of Documents

Before Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) could finish his opening statement to gavel in the confirmation hearing for Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday, Democrats moved to adjourn the hearing in protest over the Trump administration’s decision to withhold 100,000 pages of documents during Kavanaugh’s time serving as staff secretary with the Bush administration by asserting executive privilege.
