On the Thursday, December 1 episode of Netflix’s Chelsea, which debuted the day after President-elect Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign promise the save jobs at Carrier, and the very day he made a triumphant appearance at the Carrier plant in Indiana to celebrate with the employees, actress Sally Field declared of Trump: “There is no evidence that he can do one single thing that he says he’s going to do, not one single thing.”
“I want to know what other people are thinking. I want to know why they voted for this man who does not stand for anything and has no real evidence, there is no evidence, if you look at his past, if you look at his history, there is no evidence that he can do one single thing that he says he’s going to do, not one single thing.”
