[See NewsBusters for more.] On Saturday's The Cross Connection, MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross used the manufactured controversy over Justice Clarence Thomas’s refusal to recuse himself on January 6-related cases because of his wife Ginni’s work to declare that Thomas is his white wife’s puppet and to suggest that he suffers from some sort of racial identity crisis.
As if to prove her point, Cross portrayed basic biographical material as deeply profound, “Something I discovered, a lot of younger viewers may not know, Clarence Thomas was actually married to a black woman, he has a son named Jamal.”
