[See NewsBusters for more.] Tiffany Cross, the namesake host of The Cross Connection, became the latest MSNBC personality to compare Ukraine’s literal war of survival to the alleged “rampant voter suppression” in America on her Saturday show during an interview with Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal.
After Jayapal asserted that the war will not stop progressives from pushing their domestic agenda, Cross saw a connection between the two, “Yeah and, you know, there are some through lines here. You know, I look at what's happening in—in-- Ukraine, and I see, you know, democracy can be a fragile thing, and it feels a bit fragile in America right now.”
