Counterterrorism Expert: Twitter Beefed Up Process for Reporting Bullying and Harassment, Not So for Extremists

<p>The CEO of a non-profit group whose mission is &ldquo;to combat the growing threat from extremist ideology,&rdquo; testified before a House committee last week that a &ldquo;designated global terrorist&rdquo; who is on the UN Security Council sanctions list used Twitter to issue a &ldquo;kill list of 100 U.S. servicemen&rdquo; and yet, a month later was able to use the social networking site to call for violence against two servicemen.</p>
