Colbert Laments ‘Passionate’ Elizabeth Warren Not Running for President

[See NewsBusters for more.] Liberal Stephen Colbert really has dropped the faux conservative routine as the host of the Late Show on CBS. On Wednesday, he lamented the fact that the “passionate,” “popular” Elizabeth Warren isn’t running for President. Last fall, he pleaded with the Democrat to run for President.  After noting the contentious primary between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, Colbert cheered, “So many people wanted you to run for president and you're kind of like a combo platter. Even the things you're saying. You're kind of a combo platter of the— of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.”
