[See NewsBusters for more.] During his Tuesday monologue, host of The Late Show on CBS Stephen Colbert used his credentials as a comedian to say that Wisconsin's self-defense laws need to change because of the not guilty verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.
For Colbert, the issue appeared to be the crossing of state lines, "Of course, the big news on Friday was that after being accused of crossing state lines, killing two people, and wounding another last year during a Black Lives Matter protest Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted on all counts."
