CNN anchor Chris Cuomo employed a comparison to D-Day in his Thursday night commentary urging Democrats to make a decision on whether to proceed with the impeachment of President Trump. Delivering his “Closing Argument” segment, Cuomo dismissed the excuse of how the Senate won’t convict: “Where it leads, how it ends, you can’t know, and that should not be your guide. Do your duty. This is D-Day. We’re celebrating people making the ultimate sacrifice only out of a matter of duty.”

He implored Democrats: “Your job is to check the executive, whether to do that or not or how, that’s up to you but you’ve got to make a decision.”
