JOSÉ DÍAZ-BALART, ANCHOR, TELEMUNDO: At the White House, they welcomed a very special hero.  His name is Conan, a Belgian shepherd who was honored by President Trump, the first lady and Vice President Pence for their valuable work to capture Islamic State leader Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi. Last month, Conan chased him down a tunnel in Syria. When cornered, the terrorist detonated a suicide vest he was wearing. The military dog suffered serious injuries, there it is already recovered, ready to join a new mission.

The first lady today also found time to receive the Christmas tree that will decorate the White House. The tree that arrived in a horse-drawn carriage comes from a farm in Pennsylvania, and is to be placed in the Blue Room of the presidential mansion.
