[See NewsBusters for more.] The journalists at CBS This Morning, Monday, made sure to label a “right-wing” protest, but offered no such characterization for Antifa at a rally in which smoke bombs were thrown at the police. Co-host Gayle King antiseptically explained, “...Clashes erupted at rallies in Portland and Vancouver, Washington. A demonstration against hate yesterday turned violent when so called Antifa group clashed with police and protesters.” She added, “At least seven people were arrested there and a right-wing prayer group held a rally in Vancouver, Washington. At least two people were arrested in that location.” To repeat, no “left-wing” ID for Antifa, but a “right-wing" description for the other event.
