Bolton on Reaching Out to Iran Opposition: US Should be ‘Free to Speak to Whomever it Wants’

Commenting on calls for President-elect Trump to seek a new approach to Iran including reaching out to the exiled opposition, former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton said the regime’s unhappiness over such a move should not deter the U.S. – which “ought to feel free to speak to whomever it wants to speak to, if it’s in the best interests of the United States.”
