In a segment on DHS Secretary Kristi Noem's testimony before the House Home Security Committee focuses on the case of an Army veteran who was deported. What wasn't disclosed, until MRC alum Rob Bluey, the head of the Daily Signal, pointed out, was that the veteran in question, who had self-deported, had faced criminal charge. He was, in fact, convicted of drug possession and bail jumping. He self-deported and acknowledged that had he not, he would have been deported. People convicted of such crimes are not eligible to remain in the United States.
