Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Brandeis is ‘not doing their students any favors’ with decision to withdraw honorary degree

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born scholar known for her advocacy for women abused in Islamic societies said Wednesday a decision by Brandeis University to withdraw an honorary degree she was to have received next month was “really regrettable,” as there is no better place to have a “robust debate” than on university campuses.
