KENNETH MOTON, CO-ANCHOR: The unrest coming after the district attorney announcing no criminal charges against officer Joseph Mensah who shot 17-year-old Alvin Cole outside a mall in February. Police say Cole fired a gun at them first, but an independent investigation found Cole "did not fire at officer Mensah or any other officer," adding that "Cole shot himself in the arm while running away from the officers."

Overnight, police released video showing officers chasing Cole before gunfire erupts, along pictures of the gun and ammo they say Cole was carrying. This morning, the DA says there's sufficient evidence is that Officer Mensah believed deadly force was necessary.
