In a predictably fawning interview with World Cup soccer champion and left-wing activist Megan Rapinoe Tuesday night, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow hailed the athlete for being “more and more articulate in terms of using the platform that you’ve got to say what you think ought to be happening in the world.” The anchor even joked about Rapinoe possibly running for president.
