ABC's Stephanopoulos Weirdly Brings Up Race, Gender as Requirement for 'Conservative' Justice Pick

During Tuesday’s Good Morning America, anchor George Stephanopoulos spoke with ABC News’ Chief White House Correspondent Jon Karl and Chief Foreign Correspondent Terry Moran about Trump’s potential Supreme Court Justice pick. Karl’s report described both front-runners, Neil Gorsuch and Thomas Hardiman, as conservative picks that would get pushback from Democrats. Stephanopoulos agree by oddly pointing out that Gorsuch and Hardiman were both “young white men” so they fit the typical choice from a Republican president.
