[See NewsBusters for more.] Wednesday night’s Republican presidential debate didn’t suffer because of liberal media bias. It was simply too short and there were too many candidates. That’s the spin the journalists on ABC’s Good Morning America came up with, Thursday. Matthew Dowd asserted, “I think fundamentally, the problem is there's too many candidates on the stage. You can blame the moderators and the debate format....Too many candidates on the stage is too much.”  Reporter Jon Karl reminded, “Don't forget, it was Donald Trump and Ben Carson who insisted this only be two hours. Ten candidates, two hours, closing statements, it's a matter of math.” So, if the debate had been a three hour event with fewer candidates, there would have been fewer obnoxious questions? Seems like there would have been more.
