The highly superficial ABC let their viewers know how they really felt about Hillary Clinton’s campaign Wednesday evening during World News Tonight. “And tonight, one of Clinton's most powerful weapons, First Lady Michelle Obama, in Pennsylvania,” touted anchor David Muir leading into Cecilia Vega’s report, “And she did not hold back on the Trump.” Muir’s praise was accompanied with the flattering on-screen headline “Hillary’s Secret Weapon.”

Vega’s report was dripping with praise for the first lady. “She is Hillary Clinton's secret weapon,” Vega declared as she played clips of Mrs. Obama glorifying Clinton. “And today, First Lady Michelle Obama fired a shot directly at Donald Trump, going after him for questioning where her husband was born,” she hyped.

The ABC reporter seemed glad that Clinton was utilizing the first lady to help her get out the vote, especially with the younger generation:

Now in a starring role on the campaign trail after her convention speech that brought down the house. Both Obamas speaking directly to young voters at a time when more than half of them say they aren't even certain they will vote in this election.

With 41 days to go, Clinton calling on an army of her famous friends,” Vega stated as she noted that Clinton was in New Hampshire Wednesday, campaigning with former Democratic primary rival Senator Bernie Sanders.

As the report was coming to an end, Muir was keen to point out that being on the campaign was burdensome to the first lady. “We know the past, that First Lady Michelle Obama does not love campaigning, but she's out there for Clinton, with her own soaring approval ratings,” he said, as if it was something she should be applauded for.

Playing off of Muir, Vega parroted the Clinton Campaign saying, “The Clinton team thinks she can also help them win undecided voters. One source telling us, they would have Michelle Obama out on the campaign trail every day if they could.” If Mrs. Obama was on the campaign trail every day, it seems like ABC would let everyone know about it.
