On Tuesday's The Five on Fox, co-host Greg Gutfeld lit into campus cancel culture as even unfunny comedians like Pete Davidson from Saturday Night Live swear off doing standup at colleges.
On Saturday afternoon, CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter lamented that when Fox opinion hosts Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity demean and diminish the impeachment hearings, it "hurts all of us" and "makes it impossible to have a debate about the facts." CNN doesn't want a debate about facts. They always confuse their own opinions with facts.
Another record high on Wall Street on Friday! And ABC, CBS, and NBC skipped it while they all did two or three segments on impeaching President Trump. The PBS NewsHour devoted 23 seconds to the good news, since they are apparently the substantive ones.
On Friday's NBC Nightly News, Andrea Mitchell laid it on thick, delivering the Adam Schiff narrative on Maria Yovanovitch, wronged public servant.
CBS offered the hard sell on Friday night of the Democratic narrative on impeachment, touting "chilling testimony from Marie Yovanovitch, the highly respected diplomat and anticorruption crusader."
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi brought her egotistical swagger to a press conference on Thursday, dissing reporter James Rosen of Sinclair as "Mr. Republican Talking Points" and then bragging about how she has more experience on intelligence matters than anyone else in Congress.
MSNBC host Ari Melber promoted disgraced Dan Rather's appearance three times before he appeared as "legendary" or as a "legend". He introduced him by lauding his "extensive experience" as a journalist. "He of course covered Watergate and the Clinton impeachment for CBS News, part of a storied career." Rather then insisted Trump is "outrageous" and "the complicity of the Republicans is depressing."
Disgraced CBS News man Dan Rather actually told CNN's Don Lemon -- no laugh track provided -- that there are people out there who take the attitude "don't bother me with facts, I have my mind made up." The complete lack of introspection there is, sadly, typical.
CNN Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter oozed about his "special one on one interview" with what CNN described as "legendary journalist" Bill Moyers, asking softballs like "Do you fear for the country?"
Over the weekend, Donald Trump Jr. told radio host John Catsimatidis that he really thought the ladies of The View could at least ask one question about his book Triggered. Instead, he only drew a bilious Whoopi Goldberg plug at the end of the interview.
