In the wake of recent shooting tragedies there is a demand for action, and we can all agree on such. However, there are those who fail to believe in our rule of law, at least when it does not suit their ideological agenda. And therefore, we have voices speaking in a stentorian manner, demanding that the immediate solution is to violate the rights of law-abiding, legal American firearm owners.
There are those who say this must end. They say that we cannot allow this moment to pass and not act. I agree. We must act, but we must act within our established law. We need not create new laws that are unconstitutional.
