In his State of the Union on Tuesday night President Trump called the slain Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani “the Iranian regime’s most ruthless butcher.” He did so after introducing a mother and son whose husband and father was one of hundreds of U.S. service personnel killed during the Iraq War by roadside bombs attributed to Soleimani.
