Todd Touts Simplicity of Impeach Narrative, But Frets It Could Take too Long

At the onset of the Democratic impeachment inquiry into President Trump, the liberal media emphasized that Congress could “read between the lines” to move forward on impeachment. On NBC’s Sunday Today, political director and Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd praised how simple their narrative against Trump was this time around, but fretted the process to impeach the President could take too long.

In the conversation with Todd, host Willie Geist gawked at what the White House would be facing in the coming days:

Meanwhile, back at home, Chuck, Rudy Giuliani, obviously the President has come out yesterday again in support of the former New York City mayor and his personal attorney. Two Giuliani clients arrested on a plane in Washington taken off a jetway there. Testimony coming up from key officials around Ukraine story on Capitol Hill in the impeachment inquiry this week.

“There’s a lot in the air. What does it all amount to for the White House,” Geist wondered.
