Surprise: CBS's Gayle King Peppers Beto on Being a 'Loser'

[See NewsBusters for more.] CBS This Morning's Gayle King on Friday offered up almost 12 minutes of air time to Beto O’Rourke in an “exclusive” interview promoting his 2020 presidential launch. At times, the liberal co-host offered some tough questions, repeatedly questioning the Democrat on being a “loser” in Texas. King demanded, “I've heard Beto O'Rourke be described as a ‘star’ and Beto O'Rourke described as a ‘loser’ in the same sentence.... What do you say to that? He couldn't win in his own state, how can we win the country?”
