State Dep’t Says it is ‘Requesting’ That Iran-Backed Militia in Yemen Return Seized US Property

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Wednesday confirmed that U.S. Embassy “vehicles and equipment” had been seized in Yemen, reportedly by the Iranian-backed, anti-U.S. Shi’ite militia that now claims to control the country. She said the U.S. is “requesting they be returned.”
