While tens of millions of Americans prepared or ordered food for Sunday’s fiftieth Super Bowl, Al Sharpton, host of MSNBC’s PoliticsNation, conducted a race-baiting, impeachment-related interview. Sharpton invited Black Lives Matter activist Brittany Packnett Cunningham and MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan on to discuss the implications of the upcoming impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.
Sharpton mocked the fact that Trump has eight fewer lawyers compared to his first impeachment trial and slammed Republicans for voting a “straight party-line vote in the House” back in 2019. Sharpton rejoiced in the fact that in the second impeachment, ten Republican House Members joined the Democrats in the impeachment vote.
