Arguing for an amendment to a Iran war powers resolution that would exempt U.S. forces fighting terrorists, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), a U.S. Army combat veteran, asked colleagues, “Do you want to vote to stand with our troops, hundreds of whom have died at the hands of Iran, or do you want to vote to be a lawyer for Iranian terrorists?”
