On Wednesday's Full Frontal show on TBS, liberal comedienne and provocateur Samantha Bee not only fretted over women not being able to getting abortions during the coronavirus pandemic, but she obnoxiously likened going to an abortion clinic to attending a concert, and complained that being blocked from going "forces you to have a f**king baby."

Bee set up her feeble attempt at humor by informing viewers that "Some states are now using COVID-19 as an excuse to restrict access to abortion because, of course they are."

After running several clips of various news outlets informing their viewers about several state governments trying to forbid abortion providers from performing most abortions during the pandemic, declaring them to be an "elective" procedure, Bee then made a tortured analogy to explain to men what it would be like to prevent a woman from having an abortion after she already drove hundreds of miles to reach a clinic:

SAMANTHA BEE: Now, if you're, say, a dude and you can't quite empathize, let me put this in terms you might understand. Imagine driving hours to see your favorite band -- which, if you're a middle-aged white guy, I assume is Pearl Jam. It's the only time you'll have a chance to see Pearl Jam play live, so if you don't get to see Pearl Jam play live now, your life will never be the same.

But then, when you finally get to the concert, Pearl Jam refuses to go on. You're devastated. And then, Eddie Vedder forces you to have a f**king baby! You'd be like, "Not cool, Eddie Vedder!"

She then concluded: "The idea that any abortion isn't essential is medically irresponsible. Not have access to safe and legal abortion is scary, dangerous, and can even be lethal."

Below is a transcript of the relevant portion of the Wednesday, April 1, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS:

SAMANTHA BEE: Some states are now using COVID-19 as an excuse to restrict access to abortion because, of course they are.

SHANNON BREAM, FOX NEWS ANCHOR: Well, Texas tonight moving to ban most abortions due to the coronavirus pandemic.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE NEWS ANCHOR #1: Tonight, we have learned that Tennessee and Mississippi are among the states that will consider abortions nonessential.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE NEWS ANCHOR #2: The Ohio attorney general is ordering a Cleveland women's clinic to stop performing elective surgical abortions.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE NEWS ANCHOR #3: Planned Parenthood and the ACLU are suing Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE NEWS ANCHOR #1: Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt says this executive order includes any type of abortion service that's not an emergency.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE NEWS ANCHOR #2: Alabama's attorney general says abortion clinics are not exempt from the new state health order, and are required to shut down.

BEE: Some of these restrictions are being challenged, but that can't happen quickly enough. Before a judge blocked its ban, Texas abruptly canceled around 150 abortions with some women traveling hundreds of miles to clinics, only to be turned away.

Now, if you're, say, a dude and you can't quite empathize, let me put this in terms you might understand.

You'd be like, "Not cool, Eddie Vedder!" The idea that any abortion isn't essential is medically irresponsible. Not have access to safe and legal abortion is scary, dangerous, and can even be lethal.
