MSNBC's Joy Reid Fawns Over Gay Black State Representative Running for U.S. Senate

Shortly before a commercial break during the latter portion of The ReidOut on Thursday evening, host Joy Reid teased her viewers that she had “exclusive” news for them about Democrats potentially acquiring another Senate seat in 2022. Subsequent to the break, Reid conducted a softball interview with Pennsylvania State Representative Malcom Kenyatta in which she fawned over his announcement of his bid to take Republican Pat Toomey’s seat in the United States Senate.

 

Earlier this year, Toomey announced that he would not be running for reelection in 2022. Toomey’s seat, and other 2022 vacancies, mean the Democrats have additional opportunities to expand their control of the Senate. Reid, well aware of this, dedicated the penultimate segment of her show to advance the Democrat’s power-hungry agenda.
