Postal Service Looking to Lay Off 120 Thousand Workers

With slow economic growth and more transactions being done electronically, the USPS in an attempt to save money is looking to lay off 120,000 workers. It has asked Congress to remove Saturday delivery and close slow post offices across the nation but Congress has not acted on their requests.
