During the powerhouse roundtable on Sunday's edition of ABC's This Week, host George Stephanopoulos brought up Maggie Haberman's piece in The New York Times pointing out how President Trump's treatment of "the Squad" is "following a pattern" of racism. Haberman elaborated on her article, citing his refusal to clarify what he meant by a "Muslim registry," his desire to have a "competing team of blacks versus whites" on The Apprentice (that actually happened on Survivor), and the fact that "he took out an ad calling for the death penalty, saying bring back the death penalty for five people of color who were accused of a horrific crime." According to Haberman, "at a certain point, it's hard to pretend...these are all isolated incidents." In other words, President Trump is a racist.
