The Department of Homeland Security finally released their border apprehension numbers for July 2021 and as many predicted, they proved that President Biden’s border crisis was getting worse with the highest numbers in 20 years. And what did the broadcast networks think was more important than a crisis putting tremendous strain on the local communities and threatening them with Covid? Pop singer Britney Spears winning a victory against her father.
That’s right, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News found the personal legal dispute between a troubled pop star and her father more important to tell their audiences about than how Biden was failing the American people. Then again, their goal was to cover for the Biden administration.
Of course, Fox News Channel’s Special Report was the evening news program bringing the truth to the American people. “President Biden's homeland security secretary says the administration is making changes to its border policy,” announced anchor Bret Baier. “Alejandro Mayorkas toured the south Texas area along the border today as the illegal immigration crisis there shows no signs of easing.”
