Nets Give Pass to Warren's Lies About Being Fired for Pregnancy

Massachusetts Senator and 2020 hopeful Elizabeth Warren was no stranger to spreading tall tales about her life, just look at her false claims of being Native American. On Monday, The Washington Free Beacon caught her in another apparent lie. This time it was about allegedly being fired from a teaching gig for being “visibly pregnant”. The broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were so obsessed with President Trump’s impeachment that they failed to report it on their flagship morning and evening newscasts.

What made CBS’s silence even worse was the fact that they published their own report looking into Warren’s firing claims on Tuesday, shortly before CBS Evening News:

Local newspaper reports from 1971 also present reasons for her leaving the school alternative to what she describes on the trail.  The Paterson News, a local paper, reported that summer that Warren was "leaving to raise a family." The next month, a story about the school board hiring a replacement said Warren had "resigned for personal reasons," even though the board had voted to "appoint" Warren to the same speech pathology job that April, according to an earlier report.

According to the Free Beacon’s findings, “The Riverdale Board of Education approved a second-year teaching contract for a young Elizabeth Warren, documents show, contradicting the Democratic presidential candidate’s repeated claims that she was asked not to return to teaching after a single year because she was ‘visibly pregnant.’”
