MSNBC Panel: Trump is a 'White Nationalist President Who is a Threat to American Democracy'

During Wednesday’s edition of Deadline: White House, host Nicolle Wallace and her panel had few kind words to say about President Trump, not surprisingly. One member of the panel, The New York Times’s Mara Gay urged voters to ignore the fact that “the economy is doing okay” and “put country over party” by voting against President Trump in the midterms, whom she described as a “white nationalist President who is a threat to American democracy.” Her fellow panelist, Tim O’Brien of Bloomberg, had equally harsh words to describe President Trump. According to O’Brien, President Trump “has been a bigot and a white nationalist for a long time. This is a guy who kept a book of Hitler’s speeches on the nightstand by his bed.” O’Brien also claimed that President Trump’s tweets have “invoked Stalinist and Nazi rhetoric to criticize the media.”
