Lemon Compares Trump to President Xi, Says 'President Trump is Behaving Like a King'

Shortly after playing a clip of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin telling a reporter "you can pretty much guess how we're going to" respond to a subpoena from House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal, CNN Tonight host Don Lemon declared "you can pretty much guess how they'll respond, with a big fat no, just like the strong men this President loves, just like a king." Lemon continued his opening monologue comparing President Trump to a king by playing a clip of President Trump saying he told President Xi of China, "you're President for life and therefore, you're king. He said huh, huh, he liked that." Following the conclusion of that clip, Lemon said "I think I know somebody else who would like that," obviously referring to President Trump. Lemon continued to compare President Trump to President Xi, citing psychiatrists who found that both Xi and Trump were "ten out of ten narcissists." Lemon declared "it should be no surprise President Trump is behaving like a king," playing a clip of then-candidate Trump at the Republican National Convention saying "I alone can fix it."  The humorless Lemon apparently did not realize that the President was joking in that remark.
