Iran, Pakistan Elected to UN Body ‘Dedicated to The Promotion of Gender Equality and The Empowerment of Women’

In a secret ballot election, United Nations member-states this week elected Iran and Pakistan to four-year terms on the world body’s agency “dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women.”
