Gitmo Envoys’ Testimony on Countries’ Ability to Deal With Freed Detainees Now Questioned

Administration envoys for Guantanamo closure told lawmakers in a March 23 committee hearing they did not know of any terror suspects detained there having ever knowingly been sent to a country not equipped to deal with them. The committee chairman is now questioning whether that was true.
