George Floyd’s Brother: He Still Called the Officer ‘Sir as He Begged for His Life’

Philonise Floyd, George Floyd’s brother, told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that George Floyd listened to all of the officers involved in his death, even calling them “sir” and even called Derek Chauvin, the officer accused of kneeling on his neck and suffocating him, “sir” even “as he begged for his life.”
