On Sunday morning, Fox News Channel gave attention to a black conservative activist, Jamiel Shaw Sr., who has a history of lobbying President Donald Trump to crack down on illegal immigration because his son was killed by an illegal alien in 2008 who had not been deported despite a previous criminal record.

Fox & Friends Sunday gave Shaw a forum to call out Black Lives Matter and other liberal activists for showing no interest in the killings of African Americans unless they die at the hands of police actions.

At 8:31 a.m. Eastern, the show's co-hosts recalled the Shaw story:

JEDEDIAH BILA: As Black Lives Matter protests continue across the country, one dad is asking where the movement was when his son was murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2008.

PETE HEGSETH : At just 17 years old, Jamiel Shaw, Jr., was killed in front of his Las Angeles home by a gang member who mistakenly thought Jamiel was part of a rival gang.

Co-host Griff Jenkins noted that Shaw authored the book, Shattered Plans, as he introduced his guest and asked him to respond to the recent actions of the Black Lives Matter Movement.

After recalling what it felt like to see the killing of George Floyd by a police officer, Shaw called out liberals for the selective interest in which black lives matter:

JAMIEL SHAW SR.: it seems like Black Lives Matter only focuses on black people who were murdered by the police, you know. My son was murdered in 2008, and I reached out to anybody that would listen, especially black people, because I thought, for sure. I would have a lot of support in the black community, but because of the illegal aliens and the way they get all the support.

He then explained why he decided to align with conservatives after liberals showed no interest in his son's death because they prefer to defend illegal aliens:

SHAW: In California, no one would jump on board because they didn't want to have to, you know, justify the illegal alien part, so they just let me go by myself, so I ended up being a conservative because that's who reached out to me -- the Republican people, the conservative people started coming to me, and I started seeing through the liberals and the Dems that they were just trying to use me, you know, and it just let me know that all black people should matter.

He soon further called out BLM:

Black lives matter if you're killed by the police, it's okay, I mean, we can tear down and burn down buildings, but if 'you're murdered by an illegal alien, you have to be quiet because they're on our side. Well, they're not on my side. My son was murdered by an illegal alien from Mexico while his mother was in Iraq.

Below is a transcript of the relevant portion of the June 28, Fox & Friends Sunday:

8:31 a.m. Eastern

GRIFF JENKINS: Joining now is Jamiel's father, author of the book, Shattered Plans: Still a Future of Hope, Jamiel Shaw, Sr. Hello, Jamiel, thanks for joining us. We always appreciate you taking time, and we've certainly had another week of what we see in this trade. It's a lot of Americans out there trying to process it. What is your thoughts this morning on this?

JAMIEL SHAW, FATHER OF MURDER VICTIM: You know, like I said, George Floyd's death was really bad, you, As a father, you know, I know how it is for your son to die right in front of you. When my son was murdered, I ran outside, and he was looking just like George Floyd is right now. He had his face to the side with his eyes closed like he was like he was asleep still holding his cell phone, you know, but that limpness In his body was just something that I've never seen before. And to see George Floyd like that, that limpness, I knew, you know, that was really bad.

But, you know, once it goes there, it seems like Black Lives Matter only focuses on black people who were murdered by the police, you know. My son was murdered in 2008, and I reached out to anybody that would listen, especially black people, because I thought, for sure. I would have a lot of support in the black community, but because of the illegal aliens and the way they get all the support.

In California, no one would jump on board because they didn't want to have to, you know, justify the illegal alien part, so they just let me go by myself, so I ended up being a conservative because that's who reached out to me -- the Republican people, the conservative people started coming to me, and I started seeing through the liberals and the Dems that they were just trying to use me, you know, and it just let me know that all black people should matter.

It shouldn't be just if you're murdered by the police like it's some kind of death lottery like, "Yeah, I won. I was murdered by the police, so I get something out of it." Everyone else just gets screwed and have to sit on the sidelines and pretend like, you know, they're getting over it.

Black lives matter if you're killed by the police, it's okay, I mean, we can tear down and burn down buildings, but if 'you're murdered by an illegal alien, you have to be quiet because they're on our side.
