Democrats Rail Against Trump's Tax Plan, But Forget About Their Own Corporatism

Several speakers from the Democratic party gathered at the "Not One Penny" protest on the Capital Lawn in an effort to rally against the upcoming GOP tax plan, but forgot about their own corporatist indiscretions.

First up was Elizabeth Warren, who spoke out against government giveaways to giant corporations and billionaire donors. She called for the GOP to instead spend money on roads, energy, infrastructure, reducing the cost of healthcare, and eliminating student loan debt. (Unfortunately, Warren should've taken her own advice given that she supported Hillary Clinton, one of the biggest offenders in corporate politics.)

Next, we have Maxine Waters, who carried the same tune but forgot to mention her own support for the insider-of-insiders Hillary Clinton.

Instead, Waters gave an impassioned speech about how the Republicans are taking money from the poor and sending it to the rich. She must have a case of amnesia, though, because she forgot to mention how she used her position of power as a senior member of Congress, as well as her seat in the House Financial Services Committee, to meet with and provide a bailout for OneUnited Bank -- which happens to be a bank that her husband held stock in.

No wonder she's been named one of the most corrupt members of Congress.

Now we have MRCTV's favorite Democrat, Nancy Pelosi, who said: "These Republicans, this is in their DNA, to give tax cuts to the rich." She continued claiming that the GOP is incentivizing corporations to send jobs overseas.

Pelosi did not mention, however, that she voted in support of several free trade deals that...well, sent jobs overseas.

There must be a bug that's spreading through the halls of Congress that's conveniently making people forget things.
