The opening segment on Sunday's edition of Reliable Sources focused on the media's coverage of the push to impeach President Trump. During a conversation with his panel, host Brian Stelter acted as a Democratic strategist; asking Alexandra Rojas of Justice Democrats "shouldn't Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat leaders every day be talking about the corruption?" Another member of the panel, Slate's Dahlia Lithwick, simply reiterated the talking points she recited on the show two weeks earlier: "the articles of impeachment against Nixon, the articles of impeachment that were actually convicted Bill Clinton; those are the kinds of things that Donald Trump does weekly." Stelter asked Lithwick, "is it a failure of the press that that's not clear enough to more people?"
