On Sunday’s Reliable Sources, Oliver Darcy, CNN’s senior media reporter, demanded conservative news sources be “held accountable,” clearly suggested they must be shut down and/or removed from cable systems. He cited Fox News and “TV providers that beam OAN and Newsmax into homes, or Rush Limbaugh. There are a lot of people profiting off of lies and conspiracy theories” and, he insisted, “this informational environment” must be “cleaned up.” He soon ominously warned: “Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, they need to be held accountable for the lies that they have pedaled to this country.”
