CNN’s Cuomo Rejects Accountability in COVID Testing Scandal, Preaches How to Live

A week ago, the Albany Times-Union broke a massive story exposing how New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) diverted state resources to prioritize COVID tests for his family last Spring. But when CNN Prime Time host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo got back in the studio Monday, after being suspiciously on vacation last week, he refused to address his role in the scandal or any part of it. Instead, he decided to preach and lecture about how the country needed to “live the right way, with masks,” which he flouts.

But moments before his show began, The Washington Post put the Cuomo family COVID testing scandal back in the headlines by reporting how state health officials were ordered to prioritize the Cuomos.

Fredo kicked off his show by trying to draw comparisons between the holy week of Passover and Easter and the pandemic. “This is the season of rebirth and renewal. Christians enter Easter. Right? Christ’s death and resurrection. Jews celebrate the angel of death passing over homes of true believers. The message could not be more resonant,” he proclaimed.

From there, the self-righteous Cuomo secularly (and bizarrely) complained about how there was a “lack of faith in the facts” (not God), and how we needed to live by the Pledge of Allegiance.
