[See NewsBusters for more.] CNN Supreme Court Reporter Joan Biskupic joined CNN Newsroom on Friday to discuss the future of the Court. According to Biskupic, President Trump's nominee will be a fundamentally different justice than Ruth Bader Ginsberg, meaning that "of many, many types of rights and liberties" are now "in the balance," much in the same way that Clarence Thomas was when he replaced Thurgood Marshall.
Host Jim Sciutto had asked Biskupic to comment on, "the change that the Court is about to experience as a result of her passing and we should note that the president is going to announce his nominee tomorrow and the Senate will vote on the nominee."
