Veteran newsman Carl Bernstein on Saturday accused President Trump of “homicidal negligence” for how he’s dealt with the pandemic since early in the year. As a guest on CNN Newsroom With Ana Cabrera, Bernstein cited “the pattern going back to January 28th,” when Trump learned of the threat, and “since then, his response has been homicidal negligence.” He maintained Trump “put his own interests of re-election...in front of the health and well-being of the American people.”
